We aim to set the benchmark for IPSSs in the region through the quality of our pedagogical practices and by helping citizens develop a democratic, critical and creative spirit.
We intend to promote active and dynamic learning, where the child is the subject and agent of their educational process.
It is our wish to elevate the institution’s services, within the scope of our area of intervention, attracting and maintaining our users through the external recognition of the commitment of the entire FADS team to the continuous improvement of our efficiency.
It is our mission to create educational environments that promote dynamic, continuous and varied learning experiences. Our main objective is to encourage each child’s development and interactions in order to prepare them to become an autonomous, free and engaged citizen in a society known for its diversity.
The FADS educational project aims to deliver a holistic education, one that values respect each person’s individuality and teaches human, ethical and democratic values (responsibility, tolerance, respect, solidarity, cooperation, equity, friendship, among others).
Currently, we have childcare facilities in Faro, Montenegro and Olhão, serving approximately 432 children and their families.
